Maybe the reason of your choice was because both two where taken during daylight and with no clouds.
Is very dificult to fotograph Porto (my city) and get all that clarity, because of its characteristics (grey, hot in summer but air poluition of the big cities because of the trafic, ancient granitic stone empire buildings... ).
Hope i see more comments, i will do the same. :)
Olá pol1ce ... tudo bem? Your photos of Porto in black and white are stunning. It was the one city I never quite reached when I lived in Lisbon. I went to the Algarve, up and down the West coast many times, even Berlengas one time.
But - your photos are a good representation of your beautiful city and maybe next time I'm in Lisbon I will get to take a trip there!

Porto is one of the oldest or maybe the ancient City in Europe that remains, we can track residents there 2000 Years before Crist.
Is an old Empire city that smells Europe, lots of monuments, and diferent culture traces.
I wrote about the history of Portugal a while back. I dug some interesting information up. I remember reading about Portucal. And I believe you about Porto. I can well imagine the melting pot of cultures and new and old architecture.

Wow! Amazing photographs, I have only attempted black and white photography a few times, but seeing this pictures have inspired me! Although they are all stunning, my favorites are the 2nd one and the last one! Thanks for sharing!
