Is a very old republic and an ancient world empire that dominated almost half of the world in past, even being "a small country", and that's the reason many people around the world speak Portuguese as the First language

World discovering

Portuguese invented the world discovering, and after them, the Spanish, Dutch, French, English..etc did the same, since they saw the success Portuguese where making with the trade routes around the globe
